Slackline Bungee Lead

It absorbs the lunge, so your shoulder doesn't.

The Slackline has an elastic section in the middle. When a dog hits the end of the lead — a squirrel, a jogger, a door opening — the stretch takes the spike out of it instead of transmitting it straight up the lead to your arm and down to your dog's neck. It sits at 125 cm and extends to about 200 cm under load.

A swivel clasp keeps the lead from twisting up as your dog circles.

Be clear about what it does: a bungee absorbs a lunge, it does not correct one. If anything, the give makes it a worse tool for teaching leash manners, because the dog feels less of the consequence of pulling. Use it to protect both of you while you do the actual training — here's how we'd approach that.
