A taut mesh bed on an aluminum frame, nine inches off the ground.

The whole idea is the air gap. In summer a dog lying on a cot loses heat to moving air instead of trapping it in foam, and being off the ground keeps it out of damp, dust and cold tile. The bed is a textilene mesh stretched over aluminum square tube, which means it hoses off and goes straight back to being clean — worth more than it sounds after a muddy week. It assembles in about ten minutes with the supplied wrench and nothing else.

It is a firm, flat surface with no padding, so it isn't the bed for a dog with sore joints that wants to sink into something — that's a foam bed's job, and the two work well side by side in different rooms. Rated to 110 lb total, whether that's one large dog or two smaller ones piled on top of each other.

Covered for one year

Covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover chewing, digging, or ordinary wear. Dogs are hard on gear, and we would rather say so up front than argue about it later.
