Orange, because the whole point is being seen from a boat.

A buoyancy aid for a dog that actually swims — off a dock, behind a kayak, in current that's stronger than it looks from the bank. Two features earn their place. The padded float behind the head keeps a muzzle up if a dog tires, and the webbing handle across the back is how you lift a soaked dog out of the water without hauling on its collar. Adjustable straps under the belly, polyester Oxford shell.

Be honest with yourself about what a life vest does. It buys a tired dog time and it makes a dog easy to spot and easy to grab. It does not make a non-swimmer safe, it will not survive being chewed, and it should come off on land — this is a swimming garment, not a harness to walk in.

Go by the chest measurement, not the weight — weight is a rough guide only. Allow 1–3 cm of tolerance, and size up if your dog falls between two.

Covered for one year

Covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover chewing, digging, or ordinary wear. Dogs are hard on gear, and we would rather say so up front than argue about it later.
